Impurity

I walk through my life
Knowing I will never amount to anything
The dirt seems to stick to me
The stench of impurity pours from my skin
As if my sweat was that of a dime whore's thighs
Used and abused would be the heaven of my life
Stuck walking among the filth seems to drag me down
Lower than (where I started) I was born
But I am the filth
(It isn't my fate, and I've been cheated)

If you bleached my soul, it wouldn't purify me
If you burned my skin
With gasoline
All you'd see is the empty misery
That is me

My littered life
Leaves a trail of trash behind me
Anyone can see that I am only a disease
One without a cure
Children run, and mothers cry around me
Afraid I am contagious
Afraid of what gifts I may bring
Unintentional sorrow, and horrific pain
It isn't my fate, and I've been cheated

If you bleached my soul, it wouldn't purify me
If you burned my skin
With gasoline
All you'd see is the empty misery
That is me

When my roads end
When I reach my last destination
The world will be behind me
In torrents of ruin
It isn't my fate
And I have been cheated
I'm sorry for my sins
And my impurity

If you bleached my soul, it wouldn't purify me
If you burned my skin
With gasoline
All you'd see is the empty misery
That is me
